These are high quality shoes with the features that has made this brand popular with some of us, despite the steep price tags (I was fortunate to snag these on sale). Traveling, I like having a pair of “street” shoes I can alternate with low cut hiking shoes. But travel shoes need to be very comfortable and sturdy for many miles on hard (and sometimes) steep surfaces. And ideally, look fine with either slacks or skirt….. a tall order. While these aren’t exactly dainty-looking shoes, their style is better than most Finn Comfort shoes in that regard. A minor quibble is that the interior leather lining is light tan which was visible and didn’t look good when the shoes were worn. I went over those edges with a black permanent marker which improved the look quite a bit. |
