I recently purchased a pair of Vaasa shoes in black. I have had a brown pair for the past three/four yrs. I find them very comfortable. I walk mostly on concrete floors. Love the wide toe box. It provides enough room for my thumb toe which is a little bent. It also allows me to wear heavier socks in the winter. My feet always feel secure thus allowing me to walk with stability.

My wife retired from teaching first grade in 2007. Several years before that, when she complained that her feet hurt from being on her feet most of the day, I took her to a store that sold high-quality shoes that were actually designed for human feet. She wound up with a pair of Vaasas in brown. She had never had a pair of shoes in that price range, having always despised wearing higher than a low heel. How many husbands encourage their wives to spend more on shoes? Well, she isn’t a shoe collector. Anyway, she declared they were well worth the price, wore them until retirement and still does, though not daily. They still look good, a little wear ant the heel. Anyway, she declared a few weeks ago that she’d like a pair in black. A Google Lens search was necessary to determine that it was the Vaasa, a web search to purchase ( the store is long-closed) and she now has her Vaasas in black for Christmas.

Excellent experience with Finn Comfort. The shoe is well made, highly supportive and clearly uses premium materials. Sizing is European but the customer support team is highly responsive and excellent and working with customer to find the right match. The shoe has a nice wider toebox for those needing a little extra room and this allows the size to feel even slightly bigger than the charts so be sure to reach out with any questions. Great to see a good product and company that stands behind it in a world of fast fashion.

The shoe is very light on the foot; in that regard it's similar to a high end sneaker. But foot sit more solidly in the shoe and feels more stable and solid on the ground. It looks good, in my view. This is one best shoes I every bought.

I have been wearing these shoes for years. They are so supportive. Once I went on a business trip and forgot my running shoes so I ran in these. They worked for that too. Unbelievable. But my son thinks they look a bit dorky. But I don't care.

Lasted me a dozen years. Always comfortable and easy to replace the insoles over time.
