I just purchased these for a three week trip to Europe. I think they will be great as they have: good traction, great arch support, can be worn without socks, and also they will look great with a skirt, dress, leggings, pants or shorts. The toe box is very flexible but the back of the shoe is firm. The angled heel strike straightens out my gait, and standing on an arthritic hip gives me some much needed relief. The strap is secure and nicely wide. (It is a little itchy but have worn only without socks and am still breaking them in.) I like the subtle snake pattern. The crisp black leather color with the white sole is striking. I hope they don't get too dusty walking over cobblestones. Hopefully I can clean them easily enough. I waited all winter for spring to purchase a pair like these and boy, am I glad I did. Thank you Finn Comfort!
